Juntao Yao received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, in 2013 and 2016, respectively. Advised by Prof. Shuo Wang, he received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, USA, in 2021.
He has authored and coauthored more than 20 IEEE journal and conference papers and holds 10 U.S./international patents. He was the recipient of the Best Presentation Award in the Applied Power Electronics Conference (APEC) in 2021.
His research interests include power electronics and electromagnetic interference/electromagnetic compatibility (EMI/EMC).
Extensive EMI expertise in isolated and non-isolated power converters, with focuses on automotive DC-DC power converters, flyback power adapters with GaN IC devices.
